To celebrate the implementation of Expansion facility, we are giving out these items to pilots which can be used in the Expansion facility.
You can receive the present from the Reward Center in the basecamp once you login to GBO2.

◎How to use Expansion facility
  • ①Unlock the slot by “MS expansion”!
  • ・By applying “MS Expansion” on any MS, you can unlock an “Expansion Slot” in which to grant expansion skills.
  • ⇒　You need MS expansion coin and “DP” for MS expansion.
  • ⇒　You can get MS expansion coin from daily mission and monthly mission since Feb 2025.
  • ②Develop expansion skills by “Skill Development”!
  • ・After unlocking the Expansion slot, the selected MS will now be able to develop a skill.
  • ⇒　Choose the mechanic and start developing, 1 random “expansion skill” will be found.
    Furthermore, 2 skills will be found if you get a “great success”.
  • ⇒　You will need MS expansion coin and DP for skill developing.

  • The cheapest but have the lowest chance to develop a high LV skill.
  • 【Veteran mechanic】
  • Development cost became higher but can develop to at least LV2 skill.
  • 【Leona Lucraft】
  • The most expensive one and you can develop to at least LV3 skill and also higher chance to obtain high LV skill.
  • ※You can develop skills for one MS as you like, but you can only request skill development from each mechanic once per day.

  • Custom Part Expansion [Armor] LV1–5
    Unit ballistic resistance, beam resistance and melee resistance increase for each “Auxiliary” type custom part equipped.

    Thrusters increases for each “Special” type custom part equipped.
  • ③Set your developed skill
  • ・You can set ONE developed skill to your expansion skill slot.
  • ⇒　Setting another expansion skill to the slot will overwrite the skill in the slot only.
    Of course, you can stop setting skill and just leave the recent one in the slot.
  • ④Improve the performance of the expansion skills you set with “Skill Enhancement”!
  • ・Skill enhancement can upgrade the skill LV directly.
  • ⇒　You need Expansion skill enhancement ticket to upgrade your skills.
  • ⇒　Expansion skills LV is up to “5”.
  • “Expansion skill enhancement ticket” will be on sale from [PST] 01/29/2025 21:00 / [CET] 01/30/2025 06:00.

・Every time you develop skills will be counted the request count by each mechanic.

We have confirmed that in expansion facility, various values of the in-game guide displayed by touchpad button input differ from the actual results.
This will be fixed in the near future update to make sure the actual in-game values ​​are correct.

  • ◎Some DP requirement of enhancement in the hangar is now adjusted.

  • ・In rare cases, when the “Unicorn Gundam [Awakened]” was attacked while using the sub-weapon “Shield Funnels x3 [Defense]”, “Shield Funnels x3 [Defense]” would immediately overheat and now is fixed.
  • ・In Moon Gundam, Psycho Plate would emit an unnatural glow when hit by an enemy counter attack under certain circumstances and now is fixed.
  • ・In Moon Gundam and Varguil, The effects and sound effects during emergency evasion were not occurring correctly and now is fixed.
  • ・In Moon Gundam and Psycho Bawoo, the Psycho Plate would not emit light when respawning in certain situations and now is fixed.
  • ・In Gundam Mk-II [Magallanica Issued], a typo is found in the MS description and now is corrected.
  • ・In Nightingale, the funnel effect would continue to remain if the unit was destroyed while using the sub-weapon “Funnel x4 [Stationary]” and now is fixed.
  • ・In GF-Tank, the weapon icon for the melee main weapon “MC [Pile Hammer]” was similar to other weapons, so it has been revised to make it easier to identify.

  • Start “Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2” from the PlayStation®4 or PlayStation®5 home screen.
    If you are connected to the Internet, the latest version will be downloaded automatically.
  • After the update is successfully completed, the [ver. information] displayed in the upper right corner of the “H.A.R.O.” screen will be updated.
    If the [ver. information] is out of date, please wait a while and try again.
    Please note that players with different, [ver. information] will not be matched with each other.
