  • ・General unit with cost of 650.
  • ・The Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI) put its prestigious reputation on the line to develop this MS, equipping it with a Minovsky Drive Unit.
  • ・The Minovsky Drive Unit was an advanced system originally designed for use on large ships equipped with “Sail of Light” propulsion, such as the flagship of Crossbone Vanguard space pirates known as the Mother Vanguard.
    The Record Breaker marks the first time a Minovsky Drive Unit was successfully miniaturized and mounted on a single MS.
  • ・This time the feature was called “Wings of Light” (instead of “Sail of Light”), and was capable of generating a powerful force field.
    This theoretically allowed the unit to approach the speed of light, granting it mobility, speed, and operational range far surpassing that of contemporary mobile suits.
  • ・Although it lacked dedicated specialized weaponry and was piloted by someone with no real combat experience, the Record Breaker demonstrated outstanding maneuverability during Operation Divine Thunder—achieving notable results in battle when assaulted by the Amakusa.
  • ・Can be deployed both on the Ground and in Space.

  • Skill “Prototype MD Unit Control System”
  • ・Press the touch pad button to activate the following effects:
  • ・Fully recovers the thruster during the skill activation and finishing.
  • ・Boosts ATK and mobility.
  • ・Temporarily diminishes the thruster consumption.
  • ・Performance is altered for compatible weapons.
  • ・Damage and stagger due to cumulative damage taken during High Speed Movement is reduced.
  • ・Moving forward at high speed for a certain period of time will generate Wings of Light, and enemies colliding with your unit or the wings will be staggered, damaged, and a set amount of thruster will be abruptly consumed.
  • ・When activated on the ground, you will enter into Flight Mode.
    Continuous actions can be performed in midair, with all actions synced to the reticle, and damage reaction is reduced, but the ATK boosting effect will be lowered.
  • ・This skill can also be used underwater.
  • When taking certain attacks or performing emergency evasion, effect time is reduced.
    Once the skill effect has ended, it can be used again after some time passes.
    The skill cannot be canceled manually.
  • ■Regarding a confirmed issue in the skill “Prototype MD Unit Control System”
  • Regarding this skill, we have confirmed an issue where it occasionally behaves in ways that were not originally intended under certain circumstances.
  • １．In rare cases, Wings of Light fails to deal damage to enemy units or stagger them.
  • ２．In rare cases, after the skill effect ends, it becomes available for reuse sooner than its intended cooldown would allow.
  • We are launching a patch to fix these issues in a future update.
