  • ・Raid unit with cost of 700.
  • ・This MS is a part of the Formula Project and developed by one of the Federation’s organizations known as the Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI).
  • ・The F89 is an 18-meter-class MS prototype developed by S.N.R.I. to verify small-scale MS technology.
    Despite this role, it featured a newly built frame for maximum performance and introduced a design philosophy emphasizing interchangeable backpacks, later realized as the Mission Pack system.
  • ・Its standard armaments included an Axe Rifle with live-round capability, a Beam Saber, and a Beam Rifle.
    In fact, certain functions proved difficult to reconstruct for a miniature MS, this unit is said to have capabilities that surpassed the officially adopted F90 in some ways.
  • ・This unit was apparently recreated by a certain engineer in UC 0169 during the Galactic Sengoku Period, when prolonged warfare had caused a sharp decline in MS development technology, and was subsequently deployed into actual combat.
  • ・Can be deployed both on the Ground and in Space.

  • ・When changing weapons within the Axe Rifle WCU (Weapon Cluster Unit), change time is reduced by 30.
    Also, when the WCU is selected, reload speed will be increased for the main ranged weapons.
  • In addition, when using a main ranged weapon, power will temporarily increase for the AR Heat Axe sub-weapon.
  • Main weapon “F89 A Rifle [HA Equipped]”
  • ・A rifle that fires ballistic ammo, suppressing and penetrating MS. It is also equipped with a melee-style heat axe for better operability.
    The MS must stop to fire, but can also be used midair.
  • When attacks hit an enemy unit in midair, the resulting reaction is enhanced, with buffer damage reduction negated.
    Enemies in flight due to skill effect are also targeted.
