■Kicking things off
Hello, pilots! It’s been a while — this is Nakagawa from the development team.
I’ll be bringing you this month’s update, so please stay tuned!
The release date for “Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe” has finally been announced.
I’m really looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds on the big screen!
As the excitement around Gundam continues to grow, GBO2 won’t be left behind! We’ll keep delivering more updates moving forward.
Now then, let’s take a look at this month’s update information!
■“P.M.U. Material Enhancement Campaign” is underway!
Starting after the next update, we’ll be launching the “P.M.U. Material Enhancement Campaign”, where you can earn tons of rewards, including increased base rewards, a significantly higher chance of discovering Mobile Suits from containers, limited-time missions, and more!
Take this opportunity to head into battle and claim your rewards!
Details on the various campaign contents will be announced at a later date, so please stay tuned.
■Regarding the Implementation of MS Downgrades (Balance Adjustments)
We are planning to implement downgrades (balance adjustments) for the Prototype Psycho Gundam and the Full Armor Ground Type Zeta Gundam.
Since these two units have shown consistently high performance records, we have so far focused on balancing by strengthening other units within the same cost range.
However, as sufficient improvement has not been observed and the imbalance has persisted, we plan to carry out downgrades in the November 2025 update to create a fairer battlefield.
As an additional note, during the player survey conducted from [JST] 09/11/2025 to 09/21/2025, we received many opinions regarding the 650-cost range and these units in particular. (Thank you very much to everyone who responded!)
We will take these opinions into consideration and provide further details in a later announcement.
※Some results from the survey are also scheduled to be published at a later date.
■Regarding Improvements to Existing Features
◎Revision of the Equipment Set Duplication Feature
Up until now, the equipment sets that could be configured in the MS customization screen only allowed duplication of custom parts.
With the upcoming update, you will also be able to duplicate weapon loadouts and as well as the shortcut settings along with them.
※The unit’s spec is currently under development.
Now, let’s take a look at an example of how to use this feature.
First, set up your custom parts and shortcuts in Equipment Set 1.
Once your setup is complete, press the L3 button while viewing either the Equipment Set or the Shortcut screen, and select “Copy Equipment Set” from the menu.
In this example, since we want to copy the contents of Equipment Set 1 to Equipment Set 2, choosing “Equipment Set 1 → 2” will complete the duplication.
Although we used Equipment Set 1 as the example here, you can also duplicate settings from Set 2 or Set 3 to other sets as well!
Up until now, after obtaining a new Mobile Suit or main weapon, you had to configure the Equipment Sets 1–3 individually, or completely redo the setup even if you just wanted to change a few custom parts while keeping the shortcuts and weapons the same.
With the updated duplication feature, you can now adjust your equipment settings much more easily and enjoy a smoother customization experience.
Be sure to give it a try after the update!
■New MS “Amakusa”
You may have caught a glimpse of it in the earlier announcement about existing feature revisions, but making its debut from the newly added source “Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam: Skull Heart”, Amakusa joins the battle!
This unit is a cost 700 General type, specializing in close-quarters combat centered around the skill “Bio Brain Control System”.
It wields three types of melee weapons, the Amakusa Beam Saber, Amakusa H Hammer [Launch], and Amakusa Claw, allowing it to dominate in short-range engagements.
<Unit features>
・General unit with cost of 700.
・This unit was developed under the restructured Jupiter Empire, after analyzing the data obtained from a captured Crossbone Gundam X-2.
・However, due Jupiter Empire’s technological limitations, combined with the high level of difficulty involved in analyzing independently-developed technologies, led to complications in reproducing it.
Although the resulting machine was said to surpass the original Crossbone Gundam in overall specifications, the MS’s body size increased to a conventional 18-meter class, far larger than the compact form of its predecessor.
・In addition to standard weaponry such as a beam rifle and beam saber, the unit is also equipped with close-combat armaments including a hyper hammer and claws.
The combat performance of units within Jupiter’s Imperial Forces was enhanced by equipping them with a high-speed computational processing device using biological components, known as the “Bio Brain”.
The Amakusa in particular utilized combat data from a pilot recognized as the most powerful Newtype during the One Year War, enabling it to exhibit extraordinary power.
・Can be deployed both on the Ground and in Space.

  • <Skills>
  • Skill “Bio Brain Control System”
  • ・When the unit’s HP falls below a certain threshold, this skill automatically activates only once, granting the following effects for a set duration:
  • ・ATK and mobility are increased
  • ・Thruster gauge consumption is reduced when activating high speed movement
  • ・High speed compatible weapons can be used
  • ・Gain the skills “Forced Injector LV4”, “Emergency Avoidance LV3”, and “Power Accelerator LV3”
  • ・Nullifies all reactions except for knock-back due to cumulative damage, ONLY at the moment of skill activation
■To wrap things up…
That’s all for the Dev. newsletter.
This update will be applied on [PDT] 10/22/2025 22:00 / [CEST] 10/23/2025 07:00.
Please wait just a little longer until the update.
