This is my first Dev Newsletter in the 2025! -
It becomes a bit warmer in Japan and I think that Spring is getting closer.
There’s a world of temperature difference between day and night, so make sure to stay warm! - Okay, let’s talk about some GBO news.
- ■6 Million DL celebration campaign!!

After 6 and a half year service from [JST] 07/26/2018, “Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2” is now finally reaching 6 million DLs!

- ■New map “Mining City”!

Next, let me introduce you the new MAP Mining City!
This is a mine next to a city, which is inspired from “Mobile Suit Gundam The 08th MS Team”.
Main battlefield is expected in the middle of the town, while it is also the key to make good used to each path which connects from point to point. - Here is some features of the MAP!

This MAP is separated into south and north two areas by a main stream, surrounded by building(yellow part).
The main stream near by the 2 big chimneys right in the middle of the MAP will be the major battlefield(green part).
Also there are mountain path linking both bases, so keep that in mind and be care about the bullet from your back(purple part).

- As you see, the main stream in the center of the MAP:

・The flat high ground which can overlook the whole MAP
・The lower part with covers but lacking visibility, can move sneaky and approach to the enemy -
In this MAP, you need to secure the upper part of the center, you will have a good view there and oversee your enemy.
Then take the C/D point and shorten the time to back to the frontline. 
- <MAP feature②: Sniping spots in the MAP>

You still need to be on guard even secured the upper part in the center MAP.
As long as you gaze into the abyss, it will gaze back into you. Your enemy will also know your position since there is no covers there.

Look out, sniper over there!
Be careful to the long ranged attack and you will need the same long ranged weapons too, otherwise you stand no chance.
In this case, hide into the chimney or lower part and stay low. - <MAP feature③: Stream can be destroyed>

You can take advantage by securing the main stream, but there is a way to turn the table.
It is destroy the bridge and make a new route for your own. -
Some specified part of the bridge can be destroyed and form to a leaned path to the upper part.
Limit the enemy’s movement, put pressure on them, seek chance of attacking enemy MS, I sure you will find your way to use it!

- By the way, unit adjustment of the month and the report for the previous unit adjustment will be update on [PST] 02/26/2025 / [CET] 02/27/2025.
- We are preparing for spring so that everyone can enjoy GBO2 even more, so please be patient while playing with the newly added MAP!
