This time, it is going to be my turn and I hope you guys will enjoy this developer newsletter. - February is almost gone and I’m shocked with how the time flies that fast!
*sneeze*… I feel like I can’t wait any longer for the Spring… - Alright, let talk about the coming major update in the coming weeks!
- ■New MS “Perfect Gundam [TB]”!
- Today’s first news, new MS will be implemented in the next update!
- New MS “Perfect Gundam [TB]” from “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt” is now joining GBO2!
We have the intro video of this MS for you all, let take a look! - <Unit features>
・This MS was most likely built with the frame of a Psycho Zaku Mk-II [TB], manufactured by a faction known as the South Seas Alliance after the One Year War.
The frame was retrofitted with armor salvaged from the remains of another Gundam. - ・Equipped with highly versatile armaments such as beam rifle, beam saber, and a head vulcan cannon, it also has a variety of ranged weapons such as a bazooka and a beam spray gun.
- ・By utilizing the “Defensive Shot” skill, which is effective when the main ranged weapon is selected, the main weapon can be used to fire while reducing the area of the main body that is hit by bullets, allowing the unit to maintain the front line, raid, and take other actions to its advantage.
- ・Can be deployed both on the Ground and in Space.

- Also let me make an announcement for the comic “Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt” which have over 200 episode is releasing the latest chapter in late Feb.
Have a check if you have spare time and you will never go wrong with it!! - ■New ground MAP “Ravine”!
- New MAP “Ravine” will be added in the next update.
This ground map is inspired by a Mobile Suit Gundam scene, the Great Canyon.
Let take a close look to its features and how to play this map. - <About the whole MAP>
- The MAP is characterized by an intricate terrain with several huge cliffs in a row throughout the entire area.
Both teams will launch from a location away from their bases, with the odd-numbered player starting in front of the base, and even-numbered players will start at a position across a huge cliff. - <Feature①: The main battlefield, open central section>
- The relay point E, located in the center of the MAP, is the main battleground of this MAP.
Although control of this area will give you an advantage but since the central part of the area is relatively open, it is also vulnerable to be fired from relay points A & B and from the high ground in the cliff gap. - <Feature②: Multiple routes between the cliffs>
- A solid route for both teams would be to use relay point A or B as a forward position and proceed to point E.
However, there are also some other routes possible to approach. - For example,
①Team members assemble and the route quickly trundles to point E.
②Supporting the progress of allies while providing fire support from high ground.
③Attempt a surprise attack on the enemy position via a waterway. - There are multiple routes in the map and the key is “Which way can we go in coordination with our allies?”.

Read the situation and enjoy your battle! - ■Changes about MS movement action near or in the water field
- As the topic, ALL MS movements related to water(near/in) is now adjusted.
Some points are summarize as below for your reference. - ・MS without Environmental compatibility “Water”: Movement near/in water will no longer be affected.
・MS with Environmental compatibility “Water”: Movement near/in water will be buffed or applied with even stronger effect.
※There will no longer have the falling speed effect due to water. - This change is intended to address the issue which pilots have been hated (stressed) for a while, we hope this situation could be alleviated by eliminating the reduction of the movement speed.
Still, we don’t want those good capability MS in water such as Z’Gok and Acguy to lose their advantages.
So we decided to give them some extra movement buff during acting near/in water. - However, some weapons are remaining some different performance between in and out of water, these weapons are not subject to these changes because of their characteristics.
(Like flamethrowers and Sealant kinds weapon cannot be used underwater, projectiles fly slowly, etc.) - More details listed below. (Changes are shown in yellow text.)
